turning out drunken idolatorus fornicators foaming up their iniquitious lusts in plain view. What about gossipers? What about those nasty christians who don't....edify? How about non-tithers? Liars? Those without perfect fruits of the Spirit? The list can be quite long and guess what? We are all on that list. When you cast stones, they often come back to hurt. I agree these things should not be condoned by christians but its not always clear or consistant to define all of these things as sin. A couple drinks with friends may not be sin for some...and bad sin for others. Its not that black and white. We all got stuff. That is why Jesus said the Law was summed up in loving your neighbor and loving God. Its not about rules. Its about the relationships and how the rulkes work when we apply them properly. I do understand where you are coming from and I agree, in principle, we should act "above board". Its how we do it that ius important and the bible gives us guidlines in Matthew 18:15-20

Hurt my feelings why don't you? Is that how you welcoming a new poster? How are you practicing the doctrine of meekness that you preach? As to your question..original thoughts ARE scary aren't they? That may be why you reacted so hostilly to my humble musings. But look..how did the Lord show compassion when He rebuked the adulteress( no not a prostitute-there you go being sexist!) in front of all those people? Can you deny what the Gospel says? Or that Jesus never got angry? What about the incident that led to His arrest-the one where he tore up the temple-was that an example of lamblike meekness?

Oh so stone me why don't you? What about your preachy little footnote-isn't that a stone as well? Puhlleeeese spare me the hypocrisy! The problem is that you wannabe pastors lacking fire and brimstone hate rivalry. Read your Bible again...is the Lord coming to sprinkle spring water or dispense plastic glasses of Sprite soda? NO!! he is coming to judge with fire...FIRE so get used to it because that FIRE is coming down!!!!

Oh so you're calling me paranoid too? Is this how Christians show their meekness-by ganging up on people?

War4Him, maybe it was an innocent mistake on your part. Just back up, take a deep breath, and start over. Everyone errs.

the modern gospels are turning out drunken idolatorus fornicators foaming up their iniquitious lusts in plain view. What's to be done but shun and rebuke, shun and rebuke, shun and rebuke that blasphemy just like the Lord did to the adulteress telling her to stop her sinning. Who will stop the sinning? Who can do it but the holy chosen ones? Spooky people lost in the dark headed for the pit all because of doctrines of feel good "faith"!!!! Sad I tell you sad! Secular humanism kills souls dead! But there is hope my brothers and sisters yes there is sweet hope like suagr on a donut and that hope says that that poor girl can be saved before her evil ways lead her straight to Hell! This is meek and humble? quote:

You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. James 4:4 This is scripture, my favorite scripture because I came late to the Lord in life and the world pulls at me all the time. It reminds me who I am in Christ and what the world really is. It is no condemnation of anyone, its a constant reminde of where I was and not to go back. If anything its directed at me and seeing it everyday is my source of strength. I could post Psalm 91, which is another fave of mine.

There was no pretense on my part to appear meek and humble but it that's what you're preaching you better make sure you're walking you talk. Anyway thanks for explaining your quote. That at least was doen in a spirit of meekness. Noneless, imho it still reads as a rebuke especially when you post it over and over again. Peace be with you!

A put on? Where? Maybe you just want to change the subject away from the argument because it's plain to see that I'm right and was wrongfully attacked.
