Hello new-found friends. My name is Steve, I currently live in Florida. Reared in a pastor's home, primarily across Southern GA, I have also answered the call to the ministry. Over the past 25 years, I've pastored churches in Tennessee, Georgia, and Virginia, as well as served as Minister of Music and / or Youth in Georgia, Tennessee, and currently in Florida.
Growing up, I developed an early love for Southern Gospel music, and now can also add some of the LIGHTER contemporary Christian, praise and worship, plus myriad other styles of music. My roots and true love has always been Southern Gospel, though.
Among my early desires in life was to get into the radio field. God allowed me to do that even while still in high school. Having spun the old 45's and 33's in the early 80s, I well remember learning the new technology of operating a CD player while at a radio station in southern GA.
I've been married to the same lady for 18 years, blessed with two beautiful daughters (14 and 16 years old) and I'm looking forward to developing new friendships and relationships here in the Singing News forum.
