I don't plan to do any of these things. What we are currently doing is looking into investing heavily in business friendly countries. Taking our resources to a place where we are not loaded down by heavy taxes and regulations. Countries who understand basic economics and where the citizens see a job as a priviledge not a right. Where employees look for ways to help the business grow and inturn themselves and their community rather than looking for a way to sue the employer and sit at home a draw a check.

Wouldn't that be a land that's fair and bright where the handouts grow on bushes and you sleep out every night? ; )

Well the fourteen might bother me, but what is wrong with soccer? I hate football, basketball, baseball. I might like soccer, Actually I do, watched my husban play it alot. I love Catholics also, so no problem, they are pro-life.

Won't move to Canada but might move to Portugal. Want to go with me LightShineOn

Curious here... why Portugal?

84% of the population is Catholic, age of consent is 14 and their main sport is Soccer.

Lots of things for a US Christian to be upset about

Voter fraud is quite rare. Those of you that are saying it happens, do you have any evidence besides slogans? Most claims are easily debunked. This site has some good articles

Hmmmm................. notice no responses. Folks here don't seem all that interested in evidence.

Sen. Mary Landrieu should not have been seated when she was first elected when Woody Jenkins had proof that there were more fraudulent votes cast than he lost the election by.

http://www.nlpc.org/ew/03-2int.htm

That was in 1996. A Republican controlled Congress investigated and did not overturn the results. The primary investigator for Jenkins was a convicted felon who was murdered (in a drive-by shooting) shortly after the investigation began.

Even if the allegations were accurate (Congressional investigation noted "irregularities"), this was one of 435 congressional elections (.2%).. And, though voter fraud is legendary in Louisiana, it is also not considered a one-party matter.

Where I currently live the land is fair and bright (it's down right hot here) and the handouts grow on trees (not bushes)

Those who get the handouts don't tend to sleep at night they tend to run the streets. It's the working folks who are at home pooped out and sleeping.

This is from their website:

Although there are a few recorded examples in which noncitizens have apparently registered or voted, investigators have concluded that they were likely not aware that doing so was improper. In one highly publicized case, for example, noncitizens were given voter registration forms by a group helping them through the naturalization process, as immigration officials stood and watched. These individuals most likely mistakenly thought it their obligation and privilege to complete the paperwork, and most likely did not intentionally fabricate their citizenship status in front of federal officials who knew that they were noncitizens.

They admit that non-citizens were allowed to register and also to vote. They assume the reasons behind this but the reasoning really isn't the issue. The issue is that non-citizens were allowed to register and then allowed to vote.

Then there is this:
Democracy Imperiled

"At least eight of the nineteen hijackers who attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were actually able to register to vote in either Virginia or Florida while they made their deadly preparations for 9/11."

It's called 'Slavery in Reverse', thanks to the Liberal Democrats who want the working man/woman to volunteer to handout to every non-working man woman and child a piece of the wage pie. And if they don't do it by all workingmen volunteering, they'll require it and get it through higher taxes on all the working man.

That's just the way it is folks, like it or not.

As for me personally, I'm volunteered-out and Taxed-out.
JFK, it's what can my Country do for me, cause I ain't doing no more for my Country as long as there is a Liberal Democrat in Office or Liberal Democratic Controlling Congress --- either one!! NO More SPEND SPEND SPEND!!!

I could give plenty of anecdotal stories from seeing it in the town I lived in during high school. The Dixie Mafia was part of the problem there. The local politicians did not hide it at all. It made Boss Hogg look like a saint. Around here it is most definitely a democratic party issue. It took Katrina and the destruction of New Orleans to finally wake a lot of people up who always turned their heads at the shenanigans.
