I think that if the first posting of a new page is deleted, then it causes problems until the next page is started. That is my theory anyway.

And now that this thread is working correctly for me again, that theory must be correct!

Well, of course that theory was correct. It came from you, humbleinspirit!

While I do not believe 'The View' is decent programming, I did get some relief in seeing this article.

'View' Host Sherri Shepherd: 'I Had More Abortions Than I Would Like to Count'

The title looks bad, but she has repented and knows that it is wrong. Sadly, she believes the pulpit pimps are helpful, but at least there is a bright side to the whole thing.

My heart just breaks for her and other women that have done that to their children and themselves.

When I was about 21 I got pregnant out of wedlock (I later miscarried). Even then, before knowing the Lord, I knew that I could never do anything to harm that child. I confided in a woman that I considered a friend. She told me to go and have an abortion, it was nothing but a lump of cells. She bragged about how she'd had a couple while in college. I just wanted to cry for her.

Everything about that situation is sad, Kat. I am so sorry.

Abortion is murder - pure and simple. No excuses.

I've only known two women who have had abortions - or least have told me - and they have never gotten over it although they have repented and are in church. The guilt is something that they may never get over. To kill ones own child is unimaginable.

Which is why NARAL and it's affiliates have to tell such lies about what is growing in the woman's body. They have to dehumanize it to change it from murder to a safe, therapeutic procedure.

He has since repented.

I don't know that I'd call it repentance as much as he's trying to appear more "mainstream".

You got that right.
