Let's see... started posting some time in '02. It was after I went back to work. Then I was Mom2Marsh. When we found out we were expecting Luke, I changed to katmack. I've been considering a switch to MommaKat or MommaKat77, my nom de internet everywhere else.

so I picked "artemis" because I'd just finished reading Artemis Fowl.

I got one of those on CD two years ago to listen to on a trip... it was an entertaining story.

I have no idea when I joined, but I do know it was after 2000 (because of where I was working) and long before the date under my av.

I've always been HisCovenant. Picked that because I didn't like being known by my name (to avoid crazies) and because I was studying Abraham at the time. I was really impressed that it was God's faithfulness that made the world go round... up until that time, I sort of thought it was man's faithfulness that cinched things. As that doesn't change, I've never considered changing my username.

A few months ago, many ladies in this folder voted to name me Zipporah since I didn't want to reveal my real name for safety reasons. Actually, it came down to a tie between Zipporah and Cordelia and I flipped a coin. So that's why I am also called Zippy or Zipporah. I chose not to change my user name for several reasons: 1. there's nothing wrong with HisCovenant, 2. the purpose of the fun thread to name me wasn't to change my user name, but to give me a personal name, 3. I thought changing it might be confusing...

No offense intended... but it confuses me when you ladies change your user names or avs. I figure it out, but there are a few moments of "What's going on?"

I came here around 1998. I was going to a daily mom's chat on another Christian website. That place started having problems and so we all came over here. zoebob was my name there so I kept it here. I started just in chat but eventually came to forums...not sure when: several years ago

How long have you been on Crosswalk?

Lurked since 2001. Began posting 2002.

How many names have you had?

Have always been landabee. However I have one other alias that is rarely used. I have less than fifty posts on it.

Would you care to list them?

Nope.

ETA: I HAD another alias. I remember the handle...but not the login. Oh well. LOL!

Wow, it's slushie!!! Haven't seen you around for ages.

I have been tyrubonchi and InBetweenDreams.

Tyrubonchi stands for Tyris, Rudy, Bonnie, Chika. Four pets we had at the time. Tyris is now a farm dog living with a farmer.

InBetweenDreams is a Jack Johnson cd.

Hey tyru!!!! Good to see you!

I'm slushie because I had a stuffed dog named Slush. Anyway, I've been thinking of changing it.

I still say I prefer Cordelia ... because every time I see Zippy I *really* wanna sing "Zippidee Doodah" .... That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

FWIW, all the user name and avatar changes confuse me too!!!

I've been on CW since I started being a SAHM, in 2005. I had visited the chat rooms since 1999, but one night I met Jae (flintejae!!) in the chat rooms and she invited me on over here to the forums. And I stuck around! I love you, Jae!

I've always been isaacsmom. I thought about changing it up when Isabel was born, but . . . nah. Just decided to leave it.

That was one of my favorite songs growing up! I had a Mickey Mouse Disco Album it was on. See how well Zippy fits me?

I started cht in 96/97 and went under JoySaver (there were others but I don't remember them). Joined forums in 0203? and was off and on since then. Names:

BabyDoll4
dbanzai (I think ?)
RepentanceIsRequired

The first name I got from my hubby. His mom always called him baby doll and the 4 is the number of people in our family at that time. The last is due to my recent growth in the Lord. I lived through some very dark times while living in Florida all because I would not repent of some of my past sins.

That's SO true!!!!

I've been here just under 6 months (January of this year, I think). Stumbled upon the trying to conceive thread (and *struggling* thread) right about the time I joined. It's something I needed because IRL I don't know people that have faced this struggle and others that I know online don't seem to want to discuss it.

Anyway...I've always been daughter_of_faith on here. It's the handle that I use on pretty much everything (or some variation of it). I came up with the handle because of the passage in Matthew that talks about having "faith the size of a mustard seed" would move mountains (something to that effect...paraphrasing here). To me, mustard, seed, and size didn't sound right in a handle so I used the faith. It is that faith that makes me a daughter of the King...so here I am

I've been on a little over a year, I think, or about a year, though I didn't post regularly until about the end of last September, for two reasons. First, it took a while to work up the nerve, and second, in September I got a job that requires me to sit at a computer and do nothing for hours at a time. Literally! I work at an alarm company, and we need to be here and ready when alarms go off, but when there aren't alarms going off, there's not much else to do but post on CW.

I've always been Annie64, which is my name and the year I was born. I didn't really want to put my birth year in it, but Annie was taken and I needed to put something on it I'd remember. I'd been thinking about changing my handle to Nightwatchlady (because of my job), but after reading the thread, I guess Zippy's talked me out of it for now.

Only been here a few days-so always thedivabrat. Diva and the Brat are names I have been called by family and friends for a long time--and probably with good reason. This is the first of any type forum site I have been to--it is interesting but I am sometimes a bit confused-- that may be because as I get older people claim I am becoming Aunt Clara-remember her on Bewitched?

A few years, almost 5 I think.

I'm using my second name now, flowerz (I love gardening & flowers)

My first name had "blue" in it and I changed it because it gave the impression I was depressed, when it was just my favorite color.
