Lynn. Probably 1:15 to 1:30 from LaGrange to Atlanta. Program is usually over pretty early. There are motels in the area. I think hoofers has a list on their website.

Santa, been seeing that PF ad on RFD a lot tonight. Two people on it didn't get first name but last name was Taylor & Perkins.

Hey Bobby...how far is LaGrange from Atlanta??? Deciding whether to stay there or back in Atlanta.

Lynn, just drive on over to PF after the concert. Not that far and maybe you will find your getup and go while here.

I'm hoping to find it before then!!!
It's coming back a little at a time...I have more than I had earlier in the week. How far is PF from LaGrange??? Mapquest says it will be another 6-6 and half hour drive from my house to Hoofer's. I made reservations at the comfort Inn in LaGrange...apparently you can get a special "Hoofer's" discount...it came to almost $20 difference even after using AAA.

That's a good schedule...that way the kids can tolerate the time...won't get too restless the later it gets.

Are you two watching the game...weirdest play at homeplate...ball gets between McCann's legs bounces off the concrete out to 1st base and Tex threw the runner out at home! Yet the Braves are loosing 4-0!!!

I flip flopping between game and a program on RFD with the Statler Brothers. Their 20 anniversary 4th of July celebration.

You know I grew up 45 minutes from Staunton, VA and NEVER made it to one of those celebrations. We always talked about going but never did!

We saw Jimmy Fortune at Dollywood the last time we were there. He's making a couple of appearances this year at the Country Show. He sang songs that he had written for the Statlers. He still is a very good performer.

Good evening all. I closed up the shop got a shower and continued with the 4TH of July feast. For supper we had Baby back Ribs, purple hull peas, corn on the cob, smashed taters and cornbread. Yum Yum.

We loved the Statlers...we would go see them when they came to Roanoke. My Dad especially loved them.

Sounds like a great meal indeed!!! Did you finish my tables today????

We had left over meatballs in bbq sauce with rice, greenbeans, corn, and finished off with apple pie and vanilla icecream. I had peach sherbert because I didn't want anything heavy for dessert.

SM, I thought her hubby was a pretty nice guy all along. It just takes longer for some people to realize these things I guess.
