Love that quote!

And it's painfully true.

Hey, guys.

No, I haven't emailed him. I'm a little scared.

I thought of sending him like a smile or something but then I thought that might just be "friendly" and not get the point across....

I need some encouragement!!!!

Sunshine, if this is something you really feel in your heart you wanna do, than go for it! There's no harm in sending a friendly "been thinking of you and wondering how you're doing!"

Well, I have an update:

I finally sent the email, after the gentle encouragement of a couple of my dearest friends.

He wrote me back, asking me all sorts of questions about the quartet, how we're doing, and he remembered lots of details. Anyway, we'll see where it goes.

Just thought I'd let y'all know.

Thinks!

Sounds encouraging, sunshine! Keep us updated! And congrats on finally being able to send the e-mail. I know it's not always easy to do that kind of thing, but it feels good afterwards doesn't it?

Thanks, Broyce! Yes, it was hard, but I'm glad I did it now! It took him a few days to respond, so I was nervous it had just been a bad idea.

I'll definitely keep you posted!

God bless you, Sunshine! Certainly you had nothing to lose! And if it doesn't work out, you can always see it as a growing experience! Best Wishes!

GOOD FOR YOU!! YOU GO GIRL!!

I'm proud of you! It's hard to do something like that, isn't it? BUT. The best thing of all is, you took a little risk, and you see that you lived through it. What if that was his only purpose for being in your life, to teach you that? If so--then the relationship can now officially be declared a success! WOO-HOO! You have now had a "succesful relationship!"

(OK...well, yeah...that might be a stretch for some people's definition...but you get my point?)

OH, thanks guys! I'm not setting any expections, but I was impressed that he remembered a lot of details. At one point he said,
"Anyway, enough with my questions. But I'm interested."

:)

Excellent! You have a a great attitude, and sounds like he does, too. Just toss it out and see what happens. God can bless us in all kinds of ways when we stop insisting it be our way.
