Hey y'all!

OK . . . Whew . . . Finally!!!

HERE are my first 12 auctions.
I have about 16 more Smurf auctions to upload; and that is on my list for tomorrow (well, later today).

In the past few days, I have learned various and sundry things; and while the education was certainly very time-consuming, it will also be quite very useful for future auctions.

ePier vs. eBay . . . at the moment, I'm using eBay.
My seller's handle, btw, is white_rose_treasures

There's a neat aspect of eBay that I've decided to use . . . "Giving Works" is a function that allows sellers to donate a portion of their auction proceeds to a variety of charities.

Before I knew what the specific charities were, I had already decided to dedicate each toy auction in CS's memory . . . afterall, they were his toys.

When looking through the listing of charities, I found several that deal with suicide. I chose Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program.

I pray that Our Lord will bless these auctions that I will be having over the next few months, and I also pray that the proceeds that Yellow Ribbon will receive from these auctions will go far in preventing people from taking their lives and helping those who have lived through a loved one's suicide.

I would appreciate y'all's prayers regarding this as well . . . and please feel free to share my auctions with whomever you think might be interested.

Again . . . thank y'all SO MUCH for all the help you gave me. It was beyond huge, and I'm so very grateful.

HIS Peace and HIS Joy!
Sharon-Marie

Just checked out your ebay listings and added you to my favorite seller list.

You did an awesome job with the description and graphics. I think it's cool that you are using the "Giving Works" too!

You never cease to amaze me. ((((((((((Sharon Marie))))))))))))

How does "favorite seller" works? Are buyers notified whenever a favorite seller adds new auctions?

Looks like it. I added you as a favorite seller and it gave me an option to receive emails when you add new auctions.

Y'all!

Pam and KuKu, thank you for the pats on the back!

And thank you, Beckey and Christine for adding me to your favorite sellers!

Well . . . it's all over but the crying. LOL

. . . Smurf-wise, that it is. I finished loading the rest of them about 1.5 hours ago. So that means that all the smurfs auctions will end by (or within a day before) roughly a week from now.

My next uploads, I think will be of Astroniks and of Garfield & Odie stuff.

I changed the charity to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
After reading websites for both that one and Yellow Ribbon, I got the impression that Yellow Ribbon wasn't very "active" (I found a "current event" dated 2006).

I couldn't actually change the charity on the auctions that had already been assigned a charity; but I did use AFSP for all the auctions I uploaded today.

What will you do if some of the toys don't sell?

Catherine, I'll cross that bridge if I get to it.

I have prayed over this "project" and have asked Our Lord's Blessings and Covering over it.
For now, that's sufficient.

More than any money I will earn from this, I want Our Lord to be glorified through this.

Hey y'all!

I've uploaded some more toys . . . Astrosniks.

HERE's the link.

I'll be uploading Garfield and Odie next.

After that, does anyone have any preferences of what I should upload next?

(I'm going to save the M&Ms and Peanuts Gang to near the last, but other than that, I don't have a preference of any particular order)

Hey! Are YOU a Garfield lover?

Check out Jim Davis' very own website about everybody's favorite fat cat.

And who other than me did not know that there are valid Garfield credit cards?! LOL
That just cracks me up!

You're already on my list!

Well, the reminder list that shows different types of toys with people's names besides them.

There are other lists you're probably on, as well . . .

ROFLOL!

No, actually, I don't.

Blonde moment here . . . whenever I check on who's bidding on an item (via their eBay handle), I always see "Pigeon Forge TN" right above their handle (because of the layout). I think, "Hey! They live in PF!" . . . Then it dawns on me that "Pigeon Forge" is attached to my handle; not their's).
