So, what did everyone think about the nominations?

Angie, we all expected. Jessie ... !!! Pretty surprising, but a good choice. Either way, she gets someone out of the other alliance (and if one gets vetoed, she can always put up Memphis).

I'd rather see Jessie go. The kid is so full of himself and his parents looks like nice people. 'wonder how they would feel that he's got some nekkid pics out today. I think what bothered me about him more is how he spoke to Renny on their very first night. I just don't think it's a big deal. So Renny's odd but I'm sure she can't help but laugh that way and to disrespect her??? If Jessie is my son, I'd be hitting him in the back of his head once he gets out of that BB door...way before Julie tells him to put his bag down.

I don't really get the nominations. I think that Michelle, and Libra are bigger threats than Angie, and Jessie. Angie does nothing, and Jessie just has little man syndrome. As was shown tonight, when the pressure is on Jessie folds like a cheap suit.

I agree, there are bigger threats in the house. Given the present situation, I feel they need to vote Jessie out, he is a huge physical threat to all in the house. I can't wait to watch it this evening. Does anyone watch BB After Dark?

I knew that this person will be America's player. For some reason he reminded me of Eric.

I can't believe Keesha mentioned that she's keeping her word to Libra until the end. I don't mind keeping your word but the way this game goes...you can't make that promise. I'd rather see player saying 'I got your back' or 'keep my word' for a week's time but Keesha will regret making that remark.

Was bummed to see Angie go instead of Jessie. Maybe more CBS/BB influence again? Loved Michelle's reaction to the earthquake. That would be scary though. I was remembering Keil (season 8) talking about earthquakes, and how she's never been in one and has always wanted to be in one.

I lived in So CA most of my life and earthquakes are no fun at all. 'don't care when people says it's only 5.4 but when the epicenter is in a location where it's populated -- it is scary and you just wait until it's all over so I can imagine the houseguests who most of them have not had any earthquakes before could be terrified plus not having a radio or any TV to find out what's going on. I remember BB in 2001 when 9/11 happened and was just waiting how they will announced it to the houseguests and finding out that Mona's cousin worked at WTC.

I did not text but I voted online so it's free. I voted Libra and I know Dan will have a hard time if Libra gets to be the choice.

I've been in a 5.6 earthquake, and it was pretty scary. I remember season 2/Sep. 11th also. I don't think they ever found Monica's cousin Tabitha. That was a pretty eventfull season. As for voting online, I didn't.

I'm glad Memphis did say something about Jerry calling him 'womanizer'. I might have handled it a different way since Jerry's older but Memphis calling him for what he did on the first night --with Jerry touching April-- that was not acceptable at all. He's a strange old man but then that's probably why he's on the show.

Dan's rah rah talk with the women was just funny- his talk with Renny was good though. That Jessie moment was funny with Dan's eyes looking at the camera. Dan reminds me so much of Eric but I'm glad he's only playing as America's player for a week because it was not fair with Eric the last time they did this that he was not able to play his own game at all. For now, I'm liking Dan but then maybe because he's from my neck of the woods.

I'm having a hard time really liking anyone! It's so hard to tell who's actually sincere, who's trying to make trouble ... with everyone yelling at each other last night, NO ONE was really all that likable! *L*

Ok, maybe I like Ollie a little bit ... but then again, I'm not sure if he's PLAYING this game, of if he's just there for decoration.

Go24, agree w/you. I haven't had strong feelings one way or another about a cast for several seasons now. This season's seem to think they are in a serority/frat house rather than playing a game

Ewww, Go24, how can you like Ollie??

He slept with a woman he just met on national TV, after going on an on about being a Christian.

He call Libra a "dumb ho," after saying he doesn't curse and touting his Christianity.

One thing I've learned: This forum is not for Christians trying to actually live like Christians. The comments prove it.

ruth, that was really rude. Go24 said "maybe", and "a little bit". Ollie has also talked alot about "making up for lost time". Just because his dad is in ministry, dosen't mean he (Ollie) is a christian. You don't know how Go24 is or is not living their faith based on their opinion of Ollie.

Back to the topic: I'm glad that Jessie is gone, and I'm looking forward to the comp. w/the old houseguests. That will be fun. I'm looking forward to seeing who it is that they bring back. I'm afraid ED will be one of them But, I think it would be interesting to see another all star w/players from ALL seasons, and have Will (Season 2/7) and ED in the house together.

I still have to watch the show on DVR. The show aired at 1 or 2 this morning because of football.
Just a note-- most of us here only get to see what they air on CBS. We don't get the subscription or the showtime after dark so we make comments on what they show on regular TV (the edited portion). And that's why I do check on the spoiler (thanks musicboss ) .
And ruthnaomi, your comments on Christians on the forum is extremely rude and way out of line.

Jodavi, sorry if i spoiled last night for you. I hope you have fun watching it anyway.
It was kind of interesting to see them recycle the all-night thing from BB7, but with a diffrent twist. I'm sure I never would have paid that much attention to it.

Nah-- I wanted to know who got out last night anyway since it'll be awhile before I get to watch the last episode.

Don't worry. This is my last post on this site.

Music and Jodavi, you're right that I delivered my commentary without any grace. I apologize. I came to this site hoping to find a community of Christians - Christians with whom I could engage in thoughtful dialogue.

I was frustrated that non-Christian friends routinely, when commenting on Big Brother, say that Christians are phony. I largely disagreed with most of their assessments, but thought it was interesting that people were commenting on Christianity. Here you have Christians proclaiming their faith on national TV. What does that mean, and how does it affect the faith? Negatively? Positively? I wanted to have a thoughtful discussion about that. People associate Ollie with Christianity, and I think that association may have some ramifications. But maybe not. So I came here to discuss Ollie (according to his statements on the feeds, he is a Christian).

What did I get when I came here to have that thoughtful discussion? "I like Ollie." "He says he's making up for lost time!!" Interesting response. But not what I expected. I thought this site might be the place for me to have that online discussion with Christians (used a search engine to find the site). It's clearly not.

Take care.
