So did you figure out what the event was/is Maggie? I'm curious now.

Leah, yes, camp seems to grow E up a lot each summer. She has a huge blind spot about an issue right now, and frankly it's making me crazy. But even when we talk about it, she acts pretty decent. Today she even said she'd think about what I had to say. I don't know if she will, but like I said, at least she is respectful.

We just got through the fair parade; hubby and son went to the rodeo so son could sell stadium seats for the scouts. We didn't know they needed extra help tonight until just before the parade, so they ended up being later than I'd have wanted them to arrive, but I guess it'll be OK. I could have used some of Leah's cooler weather today; it was in the 90Fs and sunny sitting watching the parade.

Yep! They have dancing at The Forks every Thursday night. Free. By the time I left, people had set up lawn chairs in neat rows. I'm sure the dancing isn't meant to be a spectator event. Maybe the chairs are for when they get tired from dancing and need a break.

Good Friday Morning Everyone

Oh..danceing. I love danceing
Love watching folks dance also. We have this couple in the area that dance the night away, and folks love to watch them. They even won many dance contests. They are into their late 60's already. But they still put on a great show.

Went to pick up Cody from work last night. It had cooled down out there. I came home and turned off the central air. Next the windows were opened. Oh did it feel nice. Gonna try to keep them open until tomorrow. The higher dew points are pushed back until Sunday now. And it's so sweet to have them windows open again

I have Isabelle today. Brandi's working 1st shift. So their are two kids this morning. Now this afternoon I get Ethan and Brett, so I will have four kids running around. Hope I can get them dresses worked on this afternoon.

We got a phone call last night. A friend invited us out to eat with him and his wife, for tonight. They are celebrating his wife's 40th birthday. I had plans already tho.I told him I would call if we could change our plans. Katie asked us, last week, to help her clean her apartment tonight. She moves in on Sunday. So I'm trying to talk her into cleanning Sat. instead of tonight. I might beable to make the night out with friends afterall.
Why is it things always fall on the smae night?

I hope the dresses go well for you this afternoon Barb. I'm not used to the way clothing patterns are sized; I look at the measurements and stuff still ends up big. I hope too, that you can get things rearranged to go out tonight. Sounds fun!

I'm tired. I actually slept last night, which was a glorious thing. But I could have stayed in bed even longer than the 17 hours I did. I just finished scrubbing the front of my stove--the oven door and the drawer below. They were a horrid mess but I found some grease-cutting fluid by Castrol under my sink and it worked really well--except that it made me choke, the mist got in my eyes and the spray sometimes got on my bare legs. They said to not expose skin to this stuff so I washed my hands really well afterwards and wiped my legs down with a wet cloth.

Ds1 got a package in the mail yesterday. It looked odd--all blue in colour--so I thought it was one of his friends sending him used computer parts. Not so, apparently. Well, it was sent from a friend but it was someone he met in Italy; a woman on whose couch he spent the night while in Parma. And it wasn't computer parts but meat. How did THAT get into Canada? Ds1 says it's a dry run to see if it was possible. If it is (and it was), more will be coming. They're not going to keep being so lucky as to not have the parcels confiscated in customs.

Ds1 fell in love with the fine food of Parma, Italy (where parmesan cheese comes from). Apparently it and Bologna are the two places known for the best foods anywhere. Coincidentally, I started a John Grisham novel called "Playing for Pizza," set in Parma, Italy! It's a football story, and that part is really boring, but Grisham goes into a lot of detail about the meals and the food and according to his characters from Parma, they have the best wine, the best cured meats, the best cheeses and so on. So it's interesting. I told ds1 he'll have to read the book when I'm done.

Thanks for asking Maggie.

Am real tired....all I want to do is go back to bed. Guess my body is adjusting to no cigs.

Teaching VBS today.

Having anxiety attacks about the creditor.

Way behind on housework and bible reading.

But over the infection I had and teeth are doing alright.

How are you?

Ginny, it must be very hard to adjust to no cigarettes. I'm glad you're over your tooth infection. That's good news. I'm praying for you regarding the creditor. Your anxiety about the creditor combined with no smoking surely makes both more difficult to bear. {{{{{{{Ginny}}}}}}}
