God's love and mercy also goes out to persons who have acted the most "jerklike". Yes I see God doesn't want His children to act like "jerks". That is true. He certainly doesn't like it at all when His children do bad stuff or lots of bad stuff. And, He instructs us to overcome evil with good.. We can also be reminded God is not a rewarder of evil. So how does it make sense when one sees persons getting some really neat things from God in areas of their lives where before there was only trash??

I heard how one of the things God is known for doing is putting good things in the places of people's lives where there used to be only bad stuff.

So just like we continue to discover, God is shown to be far greater than anybody else - giving people really good stuff in replacement of the real garbage that once was there before. Wasn't Psalm 20 written by David? I'm don't know, but am wondering about that.

So I believe, we are far from seeing all of the good take shape which God is going to do. There is so much good that we won't see until we leave our earthly bodies (or "tents" as I think the Bible calls them) and are home with God. Not everybody gets the good "tent". Some are given less means to take care of their "tent" well in this life (like say believers who face starvation, physical persecution, or diseases).

My dad had cancer which shortened his life in years more than it did most others he knew. And my dad deserved to be friends with my brother's kids much more than me. But I was given much of that which my dad had hoped for. So I found myself sitting in the position that should belonged to my dad. It doesn't make sense and it is not fair. God is much greater than I can understand.

Our life stories are still unfolding. I will pray some for you because I know God's love is perfect and His love for you is very great and perfect.

But are we really to forgive and not forget though? Is that scriptural? Just wondering.

How can we erase something from our memory? It's impossible. In that sense I believe that forgiving, though we remember, is scriptural.

Well its more like how the world says I will forgive you, but I will not forget. Should Christians not hold a past action against someone?
