Visited my grandmother today she has been doing research on where she wants to go. There is a really nice place close where we live; http://www.hawaiikai1.com/

In way it will. As I said in my blog my grandmother is a very social person. And living in a place that she make friends (and does not feel like she is a burden) will be really great for her. And probably help her regain her sterength.

That's a great retirement home Sarah! I've interviewed there before. They have everything including transportation, outings and much physical and social support. It's very high class. But yeah, this will all help too in keeping your uncle's strong will at bay. If she is not in his home, he has no say.

So John and I went to the new apartment today and put up some wall art. We bought several things today too for the new place.

Hi ds! Great to hear from you and that dancing is helping you relieve some stress! I didn't realize Rach was getting married so soon. How cool! But I take it things are still a little stressful at work?

Maaan. I haven't gone to the dentist yet and I better before my cavity gets worse. It's so easy to put off a dentist appointment. Ugh.

Glad you're getting your new home all comfy-cozy, Trish! Exciting, isn't it?

I have decided to stay out threads about weather Christians should drink or should not alcohol. They get too legalistic.

They are very legalisitic...it's sad. It's just like my brother and his family with women and pants and cutting their hair. I thought my brother was going to spurt "Get thee behind me, Satan" when he found out I cut 13 inches off my hair to donate to Locks of Love a couple of years ago.

Yeah! Why would you want to do something like that and show compassion? (Note the sarcasm... I'd back you up 100%)

Aloha islanders! Hope you all had a great holiday weekend!

lol Tink. I hope you don't go to hell for that. Those threads are kinda amusing and sometimes I wonder if people pretend on being THAT legalistic.

Well it's July and that means I can now use the calendar I bought for my organizer (starts in July). I think I'm really going to need it too with the wedding and move and all. I must remember to pencil in a workout. Ha.

I'm going to "get rid of" as many things as I possibly can before moving...again. lol. It just seems like things are always around no matter how much you purge that stuff. It's growing on trees!

I need to stay out of those threads also. I have been told too many time that listening to Mozart is evil.

lol

Just finished another blog...sigh

Today my plans were to go to clean, go to the bank and workout. But before all of that I need to get out to the lookout to just pray and worship. It's like an itch. I need to in order to get my day started today. It's like needing food. John is really excited too. He's always texted me twice today about it. lol

Do you have to be completely moved before the wedding? If not, make it a lesser priority. Right now, you have a wedding to put on, and that's a huge undertaking!

I think John is just really excited. He's moving in first a month before the wedding. The good side about being excited about moving right away is that we will be able to leave ad cleave from the very beginning. With the way my parents are, pushing it is good thing for both them and us. I have to fight off my mom buying me every single thing we need. Several things maybe but not EVERYTHING. John and I need to "earn" our way into our marriage not be handed it on a silver platter.

Interesting that she uses the terms 'wedding' and 'undertaking' in the same sentence.

Good for you, Trish! Set those boundaries early. We didn't, so we are still having to do it. But John's now first (except for the Lord, of course), and your parents' wishes must be secondary to his. I'm proud of you, Trish. You're making some excellent decisions!

Thanks Deb!

Good news. What we thought was a seizure wasn't. He was just exhausted and fainted. Since he started his job back October he's been changing schedules a lot and it finally caught up with him. He can go back to his normal dosage. But poor thing...(((((Johnny Boy)))))
