I just got the new CD by Share the Bread. This band is amazing!!! Later today the three original members graduate high school. The oldest turned 18 in January. On this CD all the songs are originals, no covers. The CD is called Caterpillar. These guys collectively have written about 40 songs. They are great!!!

Their style is acoustic folk.

Creed - My Own Prison

I'm on a Creed kick. The band that some people love to hate. I don't know why but to each his/her own.

IMHO Scott Tremonti is one of the best guitar players of all time and he really shines on the 2 Alter Bridge CD's. BTW, one of their songs were featured in the original Fantastic 4 movie!

I love The Smiths and Morrissey. The Queen Is Dead is the song going through my head at the moment.

The Rolling Stones' "A Bigger Bang." From 2005, and a definite return to form for these old rockers.

Just picked up the new Chris Sligh and have had it in my car for about a week. Didn't grab me the first time through but the more I listen, the more I like it. Inside I'm listening to some of my older (1980ish) stuff. Steve Taylor, Kenny Marks, PETRA, Benny Hester and others. I do a CCM Blog every Friday night - http://www.myccm.org/cbacon5/blog
