Ladies,
I have been stuck in a foreign assignment where I am out of the country for 2 weeks at a time. I have my lovely bride of 28 years coming to visit me in between weeks, and I needs some really clever idea of something to have at the airport to welcome her. She is the best, and I really want to surprise her, and make her feel extra special.
I appreciate any and all input. In business maybe ok, not so good in the surprise department.

you already know if she likes flowers or sweets. Perhaps a small garment like a scarf or a ring (not too expensive or fancy) that is common in the area but not common where you live.

I am open. This is the same woman that once met me in a trench coat...... She is the best, I love her so much.
However the Mexico City airport is a pretty busy place...

You can have signs made that lead from the gate to where you are standing. Ask people in the terminal to hold them for you, they will be happy to do it. Write on them whatever you want.
If you know someone who plays an instrument, have them standing next to you playing something romantic while you are holding flowers and balloons.
