My friend has two kids, nine and six. It's hot in Alabama. Daddy's had slow work, has fierce pride in his own abilities to never ask for help whether really needed or not. Daddy's always right. There's a lot of decisions in his world he doesn't agree with. Daddy packs up some bags and takes off. My friend doesn't know where he is or if her husband is ok. None of his family has heard from him. Attempts to reach him have failed. Kids bawling at night. Friend asks for prayers for husband's safety, and that there's someone alive she can still try to reach out with God's love to.

Thank you all for your prayers. The prodigal husband/daddy returned home early this morning. My friend is convinced that God is working away at his pride and selfishness.
