hey
k this will sound really silly im 23 years old and i still get scared ofthe dark and its only been recenlty maybe last 6months everytime i try to fall aslep i see the devil ive had dreams about him more recenlty where he is flying towards me laughin and screaming that horrible scream and just as he got to my face i woke up its horrible
ive prayed and prayed but its still happing please help me becasue i want to get a decent sleep!

Hi Waffle,
I'll be in prayer for you, because six months of this is not something silly but something that needs to change maybe 5 3/4 months ago. A body and a mind need quality sleep to stay healthy. Something free to try would be to research up what helps lead to a good night's sleep, and how well you match to it. There'll be something about not eating supreme pizza before bed and a bunch of other good tips.

Father God, please set Waffle free from this spirit of fear and torment, and from the nightmares, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Waffle, I was nervous in the dark when I was 29!  I asked the Lord to help me face my fear, and interestingly, I ended up living in a little house way out in the whops where I was the only adult there to protect my children, and during that time, I learned to face that fear. I had had bad dreams too before that, and was still nervous that I might have them, but during that time, those became less and less and I was able to cope, and now I hardly experience that at all. Sometimes a bit nervous at night, but generally not, and my sleep is usually peaceful too.
Lord, please show Waffle how to face this fear and pray about it with authority, how to take authority over it with the authority You give us. I ask in Your Name Lord Jesus. Amen.

Father,
Please give waffle sweet sleep each night along with your healing. Give him comfort and peace of mind. Help him to truly rest in you. We pray for him and thank for all that you will do in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

waffle, I used to have bad dreams when I was younger and also feared the dark. Someone told me we could control our dreams and I thought they were nuts. But I've learned you can. I'm not sure how it works, but think about that dream and then picture as that face starts to come towards you that an angle of the Lord blocks his path and he has to fly away. I know sometimes when I start to have a dream and something scarey starts to happen, my subconscious kicks in and won't let my dream continue toward the bad thing, but with turn it so things go in a diffrent direction.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Father, in agreement with the above prayers pleace help waffle to sleep well, have sweet dreams, and wake refreshed and at peace. In Jesus name. Amen

I am praying for you..I know that feeling sometimes. I use to feel like something was always standing behind me when I would shut the lights off. I would always pray when that would happen and then that feeling would go away..
Lord, I just ask for a hedge of protection over waffle. Please keep them safe and let them feel your love surround them throughout their house. This is just the enemy trying to mess with their mind and the enemy will not win here...I pray that you would have peace and comfort in your home and not be afraid of the dark.
Also, keep your bible open in the house all the time too. I do that and I feel like God is there 24/7..
