A prayer for guidance for the leaders of the U.S. and a calming of the world's tensions:
Father God,
You alone are worthy of all praise, and I stand in awe of You and what You've done for me. I thank You for loving me, for Jesus, for Your Word and Your Spirit. You are my refuge in times of trouble, and all authority on Earth has been established and exists by Your word.
As the U.S. approaches the election of its next president, and as election of Congressional officials soon will take place, I pray your continued blessings on all leaders of the US, and all intelligence agency members, uniformed police officers, and community leaders. Tensions may continue to rise, storms and floods, fires continue. Leave us no doubt of Your presence with us, God, that we may focus on You and keep things in perspective. Bless our armed forces overseas and at home- always vigilant, covered in prayers of peaceful rest and protection from harm.
These things I pray in Jesus' precious name,

yes Father, we pray for our nation, it's leaders and the future of our children in the US. We ask that you would watch over and guard every good thing that you have planted in this nation. Guard the good seed and do not let the enemy steal it from good soil. In the name of Jesus.
Father, there is such a spirit of deception and twisting of truth, a manipulation of words that attempts to change the morality of your principles in Scripture. The hearts and greed of selfish men/women attempt to convince this nation of so much error. They consistently call what is good evil and what is evil as though it is good. Restore Truth Father. Restore wisdom and discernment among the people of America. Cause them to turn a deaf ear to those that are not committed to lead this nation with integrity and a right spirit before God. In the name of Jesus.
It is a time of transition in our nation. So many ppl groups, so much division, so many perspectives... bring us to a place of ONE HEART, one God, one people in the name of Jesus. I know that prophecy reveals dark days ahead, but you said to occupy until you come. You said to ask and to seek and to labor for all that is good, every promise of your Word... many will reject it, but some will receive it. You can affect a nation. You can keep it from error. You can walk it thru dark days and keep it's thoughts and actions pure. We ask this for our nation and for our leaders and for all who would call upon the name of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus.
We speak to the enemy... take your hands off of God's anointed. We command you to release every good thing that God has planned for his people in the US, and we claim the pledges and promises of our founding fathers who committed the future and the existence of this nation to Jesus Christ. We command every lying spirit to be silent and we command every spirit of chaos to flee. In the name of Jesus. Arise and wake America. It is time to shake yourself and to defend the Faith that we have been called to. I loose a spirit of Prayer, of Commitment, of Faith, of Boldness, of Kindness... in the name of Jesus. Revival break forth here and now in this nation. Let the name of Jesus Christ be praised. Let the favor of God and Man be upon his people and upon the United States of America... and let her be FAITHFUL to him. In the name of Jesus.

The Church...
The World...
What is there to be said Father?
We are nothing without you. We are helpless. We are weak and ineffective and full of sin. It is you that will bring change. It is you that will protect. It is you that will show us the way thru the darkness, thru the difficulties of the day, and keep us from deception and lying wolves. Come Holy Spirit. Come Lord Jesus. Have your way in our nation Father, in every heart, in all who will call upon the name of your son. Turn the heart of our nation back to you. We are so in need. Forgive us. Cleanse us. Restore us to holiness. You are our Hope and our Confidence. Lead us, Guide us, raise up Godly voices as our leaders who will follow your Truth and none other. In the name of Jesus.
