i pick all in the family thats was one of the worst tv show that cbs has ever aired in the 70s

You need to fix your title so it makes some sense. You also need to fix your signature so it doesn't spread the page out.

Okay, now it makes sense. The worst Lear produced show I ever saw isn't on your list. It was called "AKA Pablo", starred standup comic Paul Rodriguez, and lasted a whole 7 episodes. It was really bad.
I'm curious as to why you think All In The Family was so bad. That was a ground-breaking show. It was well written, had some of the best actors to ever grace the tv screen, and is still funny 30 years later. It still sets a standard today for excellence in television. What makes it so bad to you?

All of his shows had a lot of yelling...that used to drive my mother crazy and she'd make me turn the channel as a kid..lol
I liked most of the one's you listed though.

I actually liked those shows and we watched them as a family growing up. We used to joke that my mom and dad were just like Archie and Edith. I guess out of those four Maude was my least favorite.

I HAD NEVER LIKE THESE SHOWS BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS DEAL WITH ALOT OF ISSUES THAT GOD DOES NOT LIKE

I enjoyed "All In The Family" -- my mother's parents could have been the models for Archie & Edith Bunker. I also liked "Good Times".

I think they dealt with issues that needed to be dealt with. I don't agree with the views of all the characters, but great conversations took place in real life due to these shows.

Good Times. It got stupider and stupider as time went on. They focused to much on JJ instead of various members of the Evans family. No wonder John Amos and Esther Rolle left.

I agree about Good Times. The adults and their struggles should have been more of the focus.

There was a very short lived show produced by Norman Lear. It was called H-tel Baltimore. It did not even last a season. Archie Bunkers Place was not as good as "All In The Family".

True, but it almost always spotlighted how idiotic some of those issues were. I know a lot of people like Archie Bunker. My grandfather in particular held all those same prejudices and nothing was going to shake them loose. Norman Lear used Archie to show the world how stupid things like racial or religious bias was. Even the shows dealing with homosexuality had a "hate the sin not the sinner" moral to them.

I think Maude was the worst. I never saw an episode of it until well into adulthood. By that time I'd already been saved for a number of years. I wish the abortion episode would've killed the show. Besides that episode, it was boring. I agree with the comments about Good Times too. In the beginning it was a good show, but it went downhill after John Amos and Esther Rolle left the show.
