Did you just need to hear that today? Because He does. Sometimes you just need to be reminded of it by hearing it or seeing it. Listen, sis. It doesn’t matter what happened yesterday, last month, or last year (even today), He loves you. The Bible tells us in Romans 8:38-39, “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”
Again, God loves YOU.
Have you ever experienced a need for God to show you that He loves you? In other words, have you ever asked Him to show you a supernatural sign of His love for you in the midst of a troubling time in your life?
I can recall reading a Scripture one day as I was going through something pretty deep and personal in my life and I just needed to know that He loved me. I needed to hear it down here on this earth. I needed it like the earth needs rain. And as I read that verse, I said, “Lord, if you’re really speaking this particular verse to me today, could you have the praise team sing it in church today?”
And lo and behold, as church started that particular Sunday, the praise team started singing, “He is jealous for me, loves like a hurricane, I am a tree, bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy…Oh how he loves us so, Oh how he loves us so, how he loves us so.” If you don’t know by now, that’s the song “How He Loves.” WOW!!!
What an amazing God we serve! He’s just that supernatural! When I heard it, tears began to fill my eyes. I was overflowing with joy! It was simply an amazing experience for me. Because I really needed to be reassured of it (even though in my heart of hearts I knew it…I just needed to hear it in that trying moment).
And if you’re reading this post today, this is His way of doing a supernatural thing in your life too! He knew that you needed to hear him say today, “I love you.” Because He does…so much sis.
So again, whatever is going on in your life, just know that God loves you. If you’re in a trial, He loves you. He has not forgotten you. He’s actually right there with you holding your hand. God wants to remind you today through Isaiah 41:10, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
Also, if you’ve done something wrong, just repent. Don’t hang your head low. Instead, do what needs to be done to make things right and begin moving forward. Don’t condemn yourself. Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us, “The faithful love of our Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” It’s a new day. Receive His mercy and forgiveness and live it anew.
I pray that this post has encouraged you. If you take anything away from this post, just know that God loves YOU. Because He does. I believe He wanted you to be reminded of it right now.
Remember, Jesus is coming back soon! And those who endure unto the end shall be saved. So let’s be ready from the Inside Out!
