Enoch was a man who walked with God, and when he died, he was translated (Genesis 5:22-24). One minute he was here, the next his body was in heaven. There were no human remains, and he's the only one in the Bible who had this experience. Enoch was so close to God, that even in death he remained close, if not closer. I have often wanted to be like Enoch - walking and communing with God every step of the way. In Hebrews 11:5 (the faith chapter), Enoch is commended for his faith. His testimony was that he pleased God.
Let us aspire to walk with God and walk worthy of our calling.
Reflection: Enoch walked with God. Can God say that of you? Of I?
Bible Verse: So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:10
Prayer: Dear Lord, incline our hearts to walk with you daily. May your presence shine through in everything we do. Increase our faith as we walk. Amen
