On Friday Jesus hung nailed to the cross, completely separated from His Heavenly Father to pay for our sins.
On Sunday Jesus conquered death and sits at the throne victorious. THE KING LIVES!
On Monday we celebrate a LIVING and ACTIVE KING and we go about our daily business...
On Monday when we wait patiently for others to make a decision that could change our lives, THE KING LIVES!
On Monday when our heart hurts from a loved ones sharp words, THE KING LIVES!
On Monday when we are overwhelmed by the negative balance in the checkbook, THE KING LIVES!
On Monday when depression takes our mind into deep dark places, THE KING LIVES!
On Monday when disappointment just about gets the best of you, THE KING LIVES!
On Monday when all is right in our world yet we wait for the other shoe to drop, THE KING LIVES!
So come Monday, we go about our lives and do our thing differently because we know in our heart and trust that
THE KING LIVES!

Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].
