The devil does not want you to discover the power you have in Christ. At times like this, you need to remind yourself that you are a child of God and that there is a purpose for your existence.
Jeremiah 32:27 " I am the Lord, the God of all mankind." Is anything too hard for me? " These are the direct words of the Most High addressing his children, and nothing is more reassuring than these words.
As Christians, we are confronted with various challenges in our daily lives. However, we need not complain because these trials are normal and expected. We must always remember that they will never overcome us because we have a father who is able and willing to help us.
The words of God in the book of Jeremiah 32:27 are words we should take very seriously, especially when we are confronted with seemingly impossible situations.
Difficulties are meant to strengthen us, and they serve as tests to help us re-evaluate our place in Christ. Whenever we face difficulties as Christians, we are not expected to panic or be overwhelmed with fear of defeat.
Sometimes, the devil throws difficult situations at us, especially when we least expect them. These difficulties are simply his way of distracting us and trying our faith in God. First, he knows our weaknesses, and the devil will do everything possible to exploit these weaknesses and squeeze us in the hopes that we will crack under pressure. But in times like these, we need to exercise our faith in God because there is nothing we can experience right now that children of God in the past have never experienced, and there was never a time in the Bible that God failed or allowed his children to be overcome by difficulties.
Take the case of Job, for instance. The devil took everything from him and tormented him to make Job deny God. The lesson for us in this story is how, against all odds, Job stood his ground, and his faith never withered. And in the end, God saved him and restored all he had once lost a hundredfold.
There are times in our lives when, despite our faith, we are pushed to our breaking point. We pray and fast so much, and still, it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You try every spiritual trick in the book, and none seems to work. Yes, there are times like this in the lives of true Christians. These are times of impossibility.
When you find yourself tumbling down the stairs of fate, falling from one problem into another, all hope seems lost for you.
In times like this, you should find comfort in the promise and covenant of God in Psalm 111:4-6. "He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate, he provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever. He has shown His people the power of His works, giving them the lands of other nations. "
Psalm 77:14 says God performs impossible miracles and displays his power among the people. He will never allow any problem to overcome his own children. 1 Corinthians 10:13.
Therefore, when you come face to face with such an impossible situation, be rest assured that Jehovah has got you covered! He is a God of possibilities, even in situations when things seem impossible to man.
Jarius, one of the rulers of the synagogue's house, lost his daughter, and he came to tell Jesus about this. It was a sad moment in his home, and we all know that when a person dies, that is the end. Bringing a dead girl back to life is obviously an impossible situation.
Jesus told Jarius in Luke 8:50 “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” And God turned an impossible situation around and brought the girl back to life through Jesus.
Matthew 19:26 "With man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible."
When you find yourself in an impossible situation, these steps might help you pull through:
1. Do Not Stop Praying
The most effective way to speak with God directly is through prayer. He gave us the power of prayer so we would never have to walk alone.
We can talk to God about our life challenges at any given time. For God to assist you in overcoming your worries and anxieties, you must be honest about them. God will attend to your suffering whenever you call on him. By strengthening your relationship with Christ through prayer, you will be able to trust Him and have faith in His purpose for your life.
2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Prayer is the first step to overcoming difficulties. And it must be accompanied by forsaking our sinful ways and staying holy before God.
2. Rely on God's Saving Power
Next, you must understand that you are a part of Christ. And this is something the devil hates the most. He will stop at nothing to steal your spiritual identity and quench your spiritual flame. The devil does not want you to discover the power you have in Christ. At times like this, you need to remind yourself that you are a child of God and that there is a purpose for your existence.
Nobody can take away your rights as a Christian unless you give them permission to.
Learn to use prophetic phrases from scripture to reassure yourself and boost your confidence in God.
Remember that nothing is too hard for God. When presented with a huge challenge, don't concentrate on how big the issue is, but rather think about how powerful God is.
He is far more formidable than any challenge you could ever encounter!
3. Believe in God's Purpose and Cling to His Love
Giving up control of your life to the will of the Living God is a trait of a true Christian. You need to have complete faith that God is in charge and that he has wonderful plans for your lives.
God's plan may occasionally appear perplexing, unusual, or strange, particularly when you are struggling, but God will always be there to see you through. God is interested in you, and He knows of every situation you might be passing through.
Every negative feeling you can think of is present in the challenges we face in life. These negative emotions may demoralize you, preventing you from overcoming the challenges. However, you must never forget that the solution to your problems comes from letting God's love take over your heart and feelings.
Through meditation and prayer, we can stay objective and shield our minds from the influence of negativity.
4. Meditate on God's Word
God's Word is tremendously powerful, and in it lies the solution to all human problems, both spiritual and physical.
The Bible explains God's promises and how He can provide for us in our need, expressing His incredible love for us.
The Holy Bible is filled with many verses that supply all of your needs. It is also filled with many instances of how God overcame difficulties for those who believed in him.
For instance, with God's assistance and trust, Job pulled through his tribulations and recovered all that he had lost with the help of God and his unwavering faith. Job 42:10-17.
5. Fellowship with True Believers
Satan, the enemy, can infiltrate and damage our spiritual fortifications when we spend an excessive amount of time on worldly pursuits. However, spending more time at church with your fellow Christians helps you stay motivated and in tune with God spiritually.
You can be inspired by other people of faith as they share testimonies of how they, too, overcame their life problems. Other spiritually inclined brothers and sisters can advise you with tips on how they found comfort in faith during difficult times. Learning what worked for them and applying these strategies to your situation will help you overcome too. Finally, you must never forget that God is there with you every step of the way, no matter the obstacles in your path.
The Highest has the capacity, might, and strength to help you navigate any impossible situation in your life.
