No matter what we go through in this life or what we're up against today, God reminds us in His word that we don't have to be shaken. We're safe with Him. Secure. At rest. He sent Jesus Himself to give us lasting freedom and peace that only He can give.
Wherever you are today, however you feel, here’s what His truth says: He is near. And right in the heat of hard times, in the deep, in the wilderness, He’s hiding you under the shadow of His wings. You may not even fully be aware, but He is watching over you constantly. He promises you that nothing is too difficult for Him. His power is greater, and He will lift you up straight out of that place you feel stuck. Know that you are loved and held by a mighty God. This desert place, this fiery trial, will soon be behind you. Press on to your promise—there’s good still ahead. And someday soon you’ll look back and see just how far you’ve come, and all that God has brought you through.

Dear God,
You remind us in your word that we never have to give way to fear and worry in this life. The enemy would love for us to get stuck there, but you’ve given us the keys to move past his lies and step over his traps. Thank you for the powerful weapons of prayer and your word. Thank you for setting us free through Christ’s gift on the cross. Thank you for your Spirit that dwells within us even now and gives us peace. You assure us that you’re constantly with us, no matter what we face in our lives, or in this world. When all seems shaky and uncertain, we choose to look to you. We know that you alone are Sovereign, and you hold all things in your hands. We trust you even when we can’t see what you’re doing.
We know you will make a way for us, where there seems to be no way. We’re confident and secure in you alone, for you are our rock and refuge, a very present help in trouble. Help us not to be easily swayed by headline news stories or defeat and discouragement. Strengthen our spirits, from deep within, so that we can walk in your freedom, truth, and peace today. You are greater than anything we face here in this world, and we believe that no weapon formed against us will prosper. Raise up a barrier and defense around our lives dear Lord, protect us and keep us close to you.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

Dear God,
Thank you for the blessing of this day and your goodness in it, we’re grateful for the gift of life. Thank you for all that you’ve allowed in our lives these past hours, the good along with the hard things, which have reminded us how much we need you and rely on your presence filling us every single day. Thank you for your great love and care. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us.
We ask for your peace to surround us right now, all of us who feel restless and worried, those who have been carrying big burdens and shouldering stress. Help us to lay it down before you, again, even though we’re struggling to really let go. Remind us that you can carry it so much better than we ever could. May your power and your rest fill us afresh. May the presence of your Spirit breathe hope deep into our souls, even as we sleep.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Dear God,
Our world is hurting and broken. We pray for those who have lost loved ones, please comfort them in their grief and loss, cover them with your peace and presence, as only your Spirit can do.
We know that in whatever we face, you are our peace and strength. Thank you that you remind us throughout your Word, we do not face the storms alone, but you are always with us. Whispering calm. Speaking peace. Bringing rest to our souls.
We confess our need for you. We ask you to forgive us for trying to figure everything out on our own, for not trusting that you are more than able and powerful to work on our behalf. Forgive us for picking back up what we already determined to lay down at your feet. Give us the ability to trust you more, give us a heart that finds rest in your presence, give us the wisdom to seek peace and pursue it, remembering it’s only to be found in you alone.
Thank you that your yoke is easy, and your burden is light. Thank you that you care for us. Thank you that the peace of your loving and strong presence guards and protects our hearts and minds in you. Thank you that we do not have to walk in fear or live in constant worry and stress.
Thank you for your voice that breaks through the greatest wind and storm swirling around us, and whispers “Peace, be still.” Thank you that you sent your one and only Son to set us free.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

He covers your past and your future is made certain because of Him. We can rest assured, knowing, believing, He holds it all in His hands.
May God lift all burdens of anxiety from your shoulders. Where you've been filled with doubt, may He replace it with faith. Where you've been filled with racing thoughts, may He replace it with calm.
For He's the storm-calmer, the peace-giver, the burden-lifter, the hope-bringer. Nothing is too difficult for Him, not ever.
Peace.
