You Were Made for More – Beloved Women - April 23, 2019
READ
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. – Galatians 5:13 NIV
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT
One of the biggest gifts God has given believers is freedom through His son, Jesus Christ. And not just any kind of freedom but the sweetest kind, the type that fulfills us with purpose.
God gave us freedom that we may live beyond the world’s standards and expectations, and freedom from a life subjected to sin and our flesh. He called every one of us out of our former lives, not so we just relax and live off His blessings, but so we can help others — especially those who are still lost and caught in the former life from which we have been freed.
I say this to you knowing it’s not easy. Many times, we find it impossible to serve others because of our own problems, fear, lack of resources and so many other reasons. But we can always ask God for direction and wisdom and He will lead us to those He wants us to serve.
PRAY
Lord God, I know and understand that You made me for more, and created me to make a positive difference. King of glory, please help me serve others in all humility and honesty. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray. Amen.
