A Hope That Will Not Put You to Shame – Beloved Women – December 17, 2019

“And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5 ESV)

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

Whatever it is that we are struggling with, God’s love is enough to deliver us and set us free. The Cross is proof that any work to gain right relationship with God is finished in Christ.

We all have struggles in our lives, but we must remember that God has promised to always be with us. Romans 5:5 reminds us that because of God’s great love for us, we have hope that “does not put us to shame” (ESV).

There is no problem or struggle that God can’t deliver us from. He is the Creator of the universe and all power is in His hands. When we turn to God and place our hope in Him, we can receive the peace of knowing God is greater than our struggles. 

PRAY

Lord Jesus, help us to remember that Your love is powerful enough to break any stronghold or problem that we may have. Help us to trust Your love for us and that You are enough to deliver us from anything that is hindering our walk with You. In Jesus Christ Name, I pray, Amen.
