My Weakness, God’s Strength – Beloved Women – November 1, 2019
READ
“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”(Isaiah 40:31 ESV)
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT
In life, we must look to our God for strength. He is faithful in mounting us up and helping us to walk and not be faint. When we take our eyes off of God, we lose strength, but as soon as we get back in the Word, we are renewed in Him. King David tells us in Psalm 29:11: “The Lord gives strength to His people” (NIV).
As people, we sometimes look to friends, family, or social media for strength, but in reality, we should always look to God who is able to renew us with His strength. So when weary or weak, we must go to our true source of strength. He will not fail us! He is faithful.
PRAY
Lord, please help us to look to You first for our strength. May we not seek out other things to bring us strength. Thank you for Your love and that You are truly our strength. In Jesus Christ Name, I pray, Amen.
