Dear Friends,
One of my personal life goals is to offer help and hope, especially to those in deep grief.
That’s one reason I am delighted to share Sherry Kendrick’s devotionals with you.
Sherry and her beloved husband Mike were guests on the Help & Hope podcast to talk about Mike’s battle with melanoma. We prayed with them for healing, knowing the prognosis was not good. After Mike’s death, Sherry joined me on the Help & Hope podcast to talk about Intentional Grieving (LINK) and she graciously accepted the task of being a guest writer for Daily Treasure.
When I asked Sherry to once more write for Daily Treasure, she slowly said yes, acknowledging that it was time to record her first five years without Mike. Friends, this week’s devotionals go beyond the journey of a widow and will help guide you no matter what kind of grief you are experiencing. Sherry takes us step by step into how the Lord kept and is keeping this promise:

Sherry not only encourages us with her story to dig deeper into Scripture but shows us how she applied these scriptural truths in her own life, giving us ideas for moving forward after extreme loss. Sherry has touched thousands of lives with her love for Jesus. She has mentored children and their parents, not only in parenting but as she has demonstrated how to walk by faith when your heart is hemorrhaging. It’s such a privilege for me to share her with you.
As you hear from the Lord through Sherry’s words, think of who else will benefit and forward the devotional to them and social media. This is too good not to share!
