3 Sisters Sing A Cappella Hymn 'Down To The River To Pray'

Worship the Lord with gladness as The Wagler Sisters sing the beloved hymn, ‘Down To The River To Pray.’ As you hear these words, remember that God hears each and every one of our prayers and He is always by our side.

“As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that good old way
And who shall wear the starry crown
Good Lord, show me the way!”

The Wagler Sisters are Crystal, Marilyn and Emily. Together, this trio honors the Lord with their God-given talents. They are also part of a larger, family group called The Brandenberger Family. Today, the sisters are using their gifts to belt out the words to the classic hymn, ‘Down To The River To Pray.’ The song opens with one voice that is quickly joined by her sisters. Their voices compliment one another and crescendo in beautiful worship. Just listen as their voices blend together perfectly to give praise to His Holy Name.

“O sisters, let's go down,
Let's go down, come on down
O sisters, let's go down
Down in the river to pray”

One viewer said, “I really enjoyed listening to these three ladies sing I'd like to hear them more often this was great and blessing for me.”

Another wrote, “These sisters are amazing, it's like there [sp] angels singing from Heaven to the Lord.”

What a blessing to hear these sisters come together and praise our King. Who else is saying amen right now?

Psalms 4:1 “Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: you have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.”

Psalm 100:2 “Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.”
