Ed Sheeran's Stirring Live 'Hallelujah' Performance Captivates

Listen to Ed Sheeran’s stirring live performance of the song ‘Hallelujah.’ This is one version you definitely don’t want to miss!

‘Now I've heard there was a secret chord

That David played, and it pleased the Lord

But you don’t really care for music, do you?’

In this captivating performance, Ed Sheeran ends his show with his rendition of the popular song ‘Hallelujah,’ and he shares his reasoning for this with the audience.

“I chose this song because at the end of ‘Fire Love,’ ‘Fire Love’ is the end of the album, and the last words of the song are, ‘My family rise to their feet to sing Hallelujah.’ And you know, I’ve played this song maybe 14 years ago, and haven’t played it since. And it feels like a good end to the show,” he shares.

At the start of the song, it is just Ed Sheeran with his voice and his guitar. And it sounds incredible! You can even hear the audience members singing along with him. But as the song builds, background singers join in, and their voices, along with Ed Sheeran’s, really take the song to new heights. The whole performance is very powerful and beautiful.

“There are no words to describe this. I'm speechless,” one person writes on YouTube after watching the video.

“I love this song even more now! Hallelujah,” another person writes online.

This song is so popular and has been covered by many talented artists, and Ed Sheeran’s version is wonderful in so many ways. We hope that you enjoyed listening to it today and it was able to uplift your spirits.

James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”
