This iconic song was written by Freddie Mercury for Queen's 1975 album, ‘A Night At The Opera.' The song spent multiple weeks at the top of the music charts and has even been inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame.

Decades later, many famous artists have lent their vocals to the tune which is a popular choice for covers and auditions. But a bluegrass version of Bohemian Rhapsody is certainly something that’s unique.

"Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?

Caught in a landslide No escape from reality

Open your eyes

Look up to the skies and see I’m just a poor boy, I need no sympathy

Because I’m easy come, easy go

A little high, little low

Anyway the wind blows, doesn’t really matter to me"

Family Band Puts New Spin On A Queen Classic

The Petersens are a family band from Branson, Missouri. This bluegrass ensemble has traveled all around the world sharing their musical talents, but you can normally find them at home in Branson.

For ten seasons, The Petersens have performed at the Little Opry Theatre in the Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex. Today, they're taking on ‘Bohemian Rhapsody' and giving it an incredible bluegrass makeover.

I've heard a lot of covers of this classic tune but I've definitely never heard a bluegrass rendition. And this isn't an easy song to cover. The Petersens said, "This is without a doubt the hardest song we have ever learned!!!"
