Harpist's Lovely Rendition of 'Gratitude'

An extraordinarily talented and gifted harpist delivered a lovely rendition of the beloved, classic tune “Gratitude.” This is a beautiful version of this song, which has become a favorite of many. Be sure to watch and listen to this performance from this skilled musician.

Without Christ making the ultimate sacrifice, suffering, and dying on the cross, none of us would have a chance. We would all be without hope, condemned for all eternity, and destined to be lost. But since He was willing to go through that and because of His inexplicable and immense love for us, we have hope and a future.

Christ paid a debt that we could have never repaid ourselves. For that, He is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise, but even that falls well short of the mark. Not enough words adequately express the thanks and praise He rightly deserves. But that should not stop us from trying, right?

In a clip posted on YouTube, musician Megan Tibbits strums the harp as she sings Brandon Lake’s “Gratitude.” It’s an awe-inspiring, outstanding performance of a song that perfectly and beautifully sums up how even though we may praise and glorify His name, it is still wholly inadequate. But since we, as sinners, have nothing but praise to offer Him, we continue to do precisely that.

“So, I throw up my hands

And praise You again and again

‘Cause all that I have is a hallelujah

Hallelujah”

Megan’s musical performance is not the only beautiful thing captured in the five-and-a-half-minute clip. The location in which she performs is absolutely stunning. The video’s description states that the video was filmed on the side of a mountain in Lugano, Switzerland.

“To me, it (the location) signifies the vastness and sheer beauty of the Lord and His ways.” Megan writes.

Colossians 3:16: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
