iB Book Club—Book 1 Announcement

I'm excited to announce that I have selected a book for our first study!

Hi, iB Book Club!

I am so excited to announce that I have selected a book for our first study! (Watch the video for title announcements.)

As always, let me know your thoughts on the selection. I don't want to launch a particular book study if the majority of readers aren't interested, have already read it, etc. Also, YouTube will be the official space for us to chat.

Personally, I would like to go live on YouTubw twice a week (ish), and after the session, if anyone wants to find the answers to other readers' questions or offer their advice/opinions, continue to comment on the video. We can bring those thoughts up during the next session.

Please be prepared to offer insight and ask questions. After all, a book club is only a book club if members are willing to discuss with one another, and since this will be a digital gathering, it's critical that you bring your thoughts and convictions to the comment section.

I believe this will be an incredible opportunity for us to connect with other believers around the world—and will also provide us a chance to grow in our personal lives as we read and discover God's good hand in the lives of others.

However, fore we get started with the first book, I need two critical pieces of information from you:

1. Let me know if you have read this book and/or any of this author's additional titles. (This will ensure that I'm in the right wheelhouse.)

2. Let me know how often we can meet. What works best for your schedule? (I can chat online twice a week, but that doesn't mean we must read two chapters a week. How often can we hop online—and "how much book" should we cover per chat?)

As I mention in the video, I am not the spiritual leader of this book club. I am not the shepherdess. However, I am honored to be a sheep with you as we get lost a time or two discovering God's truth. And there, I think we will all find Jesus.

Thank you for putting up with my sweaty face on this hot Georgia day! I am grateful for the opportunity to launch this book club with each of you, and I can't wait for us to get started!
