Willie Robertson Speaks on the Transformative and Far-Reaching Power of the Gospel

Reality television star Willie Robertson spoke on the transformative and far-reaching power of the Gospel message. His words show how much someone sharing the Gospel will impact one person’s life and have repercussions down the road, possibly for generations. This is a clip that you must watch!

Christians are called on to share Christ’s message of love, hope, mercy, and forgiveness with others who have lost souls in this broken world. The Gospel is too important and powerful to keep concealed and hidden away. It’s intended to be shared far and wide - with anyone and everyone.

However, that is not always an easy thing to do. How does one start witnessing and sharing the Gospel message with someone else? How will that person react? Will they get angry or upset? What will they think of me? Those are just a few of the questions people have before talking about the Gospel with someone. The truth is, we don’t always know how someone will respond when we bring up Jesus Christ and His message of truth, hope, and life. But a clip posted on social media shows the massive, far-reaching one person’s obedience to witness and share the Gospel can have.

In the clip posted on YouTube, Willie, of Duck Dynasty fame, talked about how a preacher 50 years ago was bold enough to get in his car, walk into a bar, and share the Gospel with his father.

“When no one ever thought this guy could ever change, and that guy cared about him,” Willie said. “He was courageous, and he walked in that bar expecting there to be a change. And he sat down in an adversarial situation and preached the Gospel.”

Later in the clip, Willie mentions how that preacher’s obedience to share the Gospel with his father started a chain reaction that still impacts lives today.

“If he doesn’t do that if my father doesn’t obey the Gospel if my mother does not forgive him if they don’t stay together, and that family doesn’t stay together, I’m not standing here right now talking to everybody that’s hearing my voice,” he said.

Romans 1:16: “For I have no feeling of shame about the good news, because it is the power of God giving salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and then to the Greek.”
